More than 20 years after the premiere of *The Devil Wears Prada*, a sequel is finally on the way.
Screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna has been attached to the project for Disney, and director David Frankel is returning to the director’s chair.
In the sequel, Miranda Priestly attempts to reinvent her career in an industry under pressure, which brings her into contact with her former assistant Emily, who now heads an influential luxury brand.
The original stars, including Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt, are also returning to their iconic roles.
