WHAT IF THE POWER FAILS?
These days we talk about prepping and increased preparedness. Young people also have a role in taking care of our community and their families and neighbors if a crisis occurs. At the workshop, young people will familiarize themselves with a situation where the power fails through practical exercises. What happens at home, at school, in society?
The authorities say we should be able to survive for three days. How do you do that if there is no power in the sockets and the mobile phone is dead? Where there is no water coming out of the taps, and the heat pump and the refrigerator have stopped working. What food should you eat first? Mackerel in tomato or the liver pâté in the refrigerator? Do you have family members or neighbors who need your help? The radio doesn't work either, so it's probably a good idea to learn how to use an emergency radio with a crank.
