HOW DO EU RULES AFFECT YOUNG PEOPLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND IN THE ENCOUNTER WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?
The European Movement offers three workshops with presentations, interactive exercises and dilemma games.

We investigate why the EU is trying to set limits on tech giants like Meta, TikTok, Google and OpenAI and what this means for young people's digital lives. We take as our starting point the platforms and technologies that young people use in their everyday lives, and focus on the balance between freedom, security and the power of tech giants. Students gain insight into how the EU is trying to shape the future of the internet – and what role young people themselves play in this development.
