Water has always had a special place in human rituals.
Across religions and cultures, water is used for purification, transition and beginnings. From sacred springs and ritual bathing forms to ceremonial washing, the same idea recurs: water marks that something is changing.
That will be the inspiration for this evening's saunagus.

We let heat, steam, plants and darkness meet the quieter symbolism of water. An evening about purification, transition and the special feeling of stepping out of something and into something else.

The sea is a few minutes' walk from the sauna, so there is the opportunity to take a dip in the sea between the heat and to feel the contrast between the heat of the sauna and the cold water.
