The darkness lies heavier over October now, and we are approaching the time of year when old tales of borders, transitions, and the unknown emerge more clearly.

This evening we take inspiration from Hekate – a goddess from the ancient Greek tradition, associated with the night, torches, crossroads and places where one path becomes several.

For centuries, the crossroads has held a special place in both mythology and folk belief. A place between directions. A place of choice, transition, and the outcome of which is not yet known.

That will be the atmosphere around this evening's sauna session.
Heat, darkness, plants and storytelling come together in the sauna as we move into the deeper layers of autumn. Not as something that needs to be explained or understood thoroughly, but as an opportunity to enter a different atmosphere for a while.
