On Monday, December 21, several old and new celestial signs will meet on one and the same evening.

It's the winter solstice – the shortest day and longest night of the year. The point in the year when darkness reaches its peak and light slowly begins to return.

At the same time, it is Saint Thomas' Day, an old holiday during the Christmas season, which has also had its own traditions in Denmark.

And above us, the Ursides are active.

A small meteor shower that appears every year around the winter solstice, and which peaks around the night between December 21 and 22. If the sky is clear, we may be lucky enough to see a shooting star between the rounds.

That will be the setting for this evening's sauna party.
