PEACE SERVICE IN STEGE CHURCH

In response to a global reality characterized by war, escalating conflicts and climate challenges, a group of volunteers has taken the initiative to hold peace services on a lay basis, alternating between the churches in Stege-Vordingborg diocese.

On October 16, 'Apple Day' will be held in Stege. When the town's activities wind down in the afternoon, there is an opportunity for a while in Stege Church with music, readings, candle lighting and reflection on what can make the world a more hopeful place.

The peace service takes place around the church's wing in the north nave.

Jørgen Alfastsen will lead a reflection and Gudmund Mortensen will play selected songs.

Afterwards, a light refreshment with apple juice, apples and cake is served.

Duration approximately 45 minutes.

The peace service will take place in Stege Church on October 16th at 5:00 PM.
