YOUNG PEOPLE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, BUT WHAT DOES IT TAKE BEFORE THEY CHOOSE TO GET INVOLVED IN VOLUNTARY COMMUNITIES?
Young people want to make a difference, but what does it take before they choose to get involved in voluntary communities? How do we create a framework where young people not only participate, but feel like taking responsibility, setting direction and helping to shape their local communities?
In this debate, young people from Huset, Touren and Ungdomshuset Møn share their own experiences with volunteering, communities and being co-creators. Together with GAME, they focus on what motivates young people to get involved, what barriers they encounter and how we can create stronger communities with room for more.
Come and join a conversation about youth engagement, volunteering and the importance it has – both for the individual and for democracy.
