Caroline Albertine Minor is one of the foremost authors of her generation. This is not something we have made up. Several reviewers agree with this. We also agree and are delighted that Caroline is coming to Stege on November 19.

The Friend in Love is a novel about an erotic, friendly and spiritual relationship between a female narrator, a mother of two, writer and translator, and a younger man. The relationship is over, but she cannot let go of him.

I piece together their story and explore, through various literary forms and the works of others, the nature of a relationship that has been both enriching and painfully obsessive for her for ten years.
