A gripping and thrilling prequel in the HUNGER GAMES universe about young Haymitch's battle in the arena!

THE HUNGER GAMES: SUNRISE ON THE REAPING is the thrilling story of Haymitch Abernathy—later mentor to Katniss and Peeta—and the game that changed everything, and the spark that ignited a revolution.
The film follows 16-year-old Haymitch from District 12, beginning on the morning of the reaping for the 50th annual The Hunger Games, also known as the second Quarter Quell—the largest game yet, with twice as many contestants.
Haymitch is sent into the Arena, where he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow District 12 contestant Maysilee Donner, joining a coalition determined to challenge the Capitol’s iron grip under President Snow. As the game progresses, Haymitch bets everything on destroying The Hunger Games from within the Arena—igniting the rebellion that will change Panem forever.
