Jo and Raissa have been best friends since school, but are now on the verge of choosing their own
paths in life.

While celebrating their last night together, Jo and Raissa accidentally find a mysterious portal that
takes them to the fantastic island of Nakali - filled with magical and mythological creatures that their Filipino
families have told them stories about when they were growing up.

Some of the creatures become friends, others enemies. Together with the well-meaning but unlucky werewolf Raww and a small but effective group of friends, Jo and Raissa must confront the Dreaded Manananggal – the most terrifying creature on the island.

When they discover that the price of returning home is the memories of their entire friendship, Jo and Raissa must race against time to find a way out before they forget each other forever.
