In connection with MørkeMuseum, we invite you to “Darkness With Meaning – stargazing, astronomy and storytelling” by Katrine Rønne Nikolajsen and Ole J. Knudsen.

We go out together under the starry autumn sky with sleeping mats and warm clothes. In the dark, our senses are sharpened, and for the pleasure of hearing and sight, the 'Storytelling Duo Katrine and Ole' give us knowledge and atmospheric myths and stories. Cand. Mag. Katrine Rønne Nikolajsen tells selected sky myths from near and far, and Ole J. Knudsen from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University shows us around the big night sky, and points out constellations, planets and bright stars. The event lasts just under two hours, so remember warm clothes, and be prepared for an experience of the darkness of the night, which you rarely get the chance to. We offer a cup of hot cocoa to end the evening.

Before the stargazing at 7 pm we will serve hot soup made by Fanes Brød! We eat at 6 pm and the soup costs 100 kr for adults and 50 kr for children.

Tickets cost: 125 kr. for adults and 75 kr. for children and can be purchased at the entrance. You can also buy our family membership in Klub44Møen for only 200 kr. and get free access to MørkeMuseum and all events in 2026. The membership is valid for 2 adults and up to 3 children!
