The trip to Piedmont
Allowed for children over 11 years old
It's never too late to start over
Four friends travel to Italy, where Eva (Helena Bergström) has inherited an olive farm. The plan is simple: Sell the farm and go back home. But between sun-drenched hills, wonderful food and charming villagers, the journey home begins to seem less appealing. After all, what do they really have to return to in Sweden? And if they are ever going to seize life and make their dreams come true – is it not now? THE JOURNEY TO PIEDMONT is a warm and life-affirming story about friendship, new beginnings and the courage to let life take an unexpected turn.
